TERRITORIAL AGENCY ‘THE INFRASTRUCTURAL UNCONSCIOUS’

For the first in this series of public guest lectures, London-based organisation Territorial Agency introduce their research on ‘The Infrastructural Unconscious’.

The lecture presents a variety of visual material and sets out an inquiry into the models to govern, order, affect and structure territorial change by measuring, surveying, quantifying, evaluating, connecting and linking.

ABOUT TERRITORIAL AGENCY

Architects and urbanists John Palmesino and Ann-Sofi Rönnskog founded Territorial Agency in 2007. It is an independent organisation that innovatively promotes and works for sustainable and integrated territorial transformations. Their practice combines architecture, analysis, advocacy and action, and often brings together multiple stakeholders from international organisations, to local, national governments and private actors.

Territorial Agency teach at the Architectural Association in London. Recent projects include The Anthro-pocene Observatory, HKW Berlin 2013-14; Museum of Infrastructural Unconscious, Taipei Biennial 2012; North, University of Pennsylvania 2008; Unfinishable Markermeer, International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam 2005.
