Executed in the mid-1970s, Benglis’s 20-plus video works explore the properties of this medium in its earliest stages, exposing the process and manipulation of the living image, while maintaining her interest in the human form and sexual identity, often using her own body. Made for intimate viewing, these works are presented in a private residence in Bergen.
